Humanitarian Situation In Yemen Is Facing Disaster, Children And Women Are Most Affected
UNICEF revealed that the war in Yemen in caused the deaths of 1.163 child, and injuring 1730, since March 2015 to the last September.
In its report issued in October 2016, UNICEF said that these figures are low as UNICEF estimates indicate that the number of children killed or injured are much higher.
The report added that one million and 300 thousand children are at risk of acute respiratory infections, 2,600,000 children under the age of five are at risk of measles, and 350 thousand students have been deprived of school last year due to the closure of 780 schools that were destroyed.
