Wounded Foundation Provides All Medicines For Wounded And Disabled

Under the blockade and the lack of medicines, the Foundation through the medicine program provide all medicines and medical supplies through a specialized pharmaceutical staff in hospitals, care centers  and disabled centers.

The company has established 30 pharmacies inside hospitals in Sana’a and governorates. Pharmacies provide all medicines in intensive care, critical cases and intermediate cases.

The Foundation has also established a pharmacy within each care to provide surgical supplies, in addition of establishing a pharmacy for the disabled, providing psychological, neurological and daily consumables.

The Foundation has set up a pharmacy for the surgical center of Al-Sabein and is working to provide all the requirements of the operations, anesthesia drugs, medication and medical supplies inside the center.

To facilitate the work, the Foundation was keen to open a central stores to provide all the needs of medical solutions for a number of laboratories in a number of governorates.

The organization pays great attention to the spread of epidemics, particularly in the coastal areas as well as the areas of displacement, where they provide medicines to combat these epidemics, such as dengue fever, scabies, malaria and other epidemic diseases across field workers.

The Foundation periodically provides medicines to the displaced through the health centers providing services to them, such as althawra Medical center in Sana,a. It should be noted that the beneficiaries of the program of medicines in 2016 amounted to 280.000 beneficiaries.
